The MD is a three way microphone director.

It’s hand designed by us to allow a band member, in this case, a certain hardworking Musical Director, to have a vocal microphone (Main), with independent switchable outputs (L & R) that mute the main output.

The foot switches can be used separately (L or R, muting main), or together (both L and R, muting main).

It has many uses including purely technical uses - two separate talk mics to say Band or Crew, or Singer and Band - along with its capacity to be used with phantom power allow it to be used for creative purposes - two wildly different immediately switchable effect chains, or even artist controlled Centre, Left and Right channels.

The ability to use phantom powered sources with a simple single pedal allows for any kind of mic to be connected in any configuration. (Please note, using a Phantom powered mic may result in a small pop. Phantom power should only be applied on the main input)
